Bookings for the 2026 Gulflander season are open. We’re looking forward to an exciting season ahead!
The Normanton to Croydon rail line continues to be impacted by flooding following an exceptional wet season and requires significant track inspections and repairs to be finished prior to reopening the complete line. We are anticipating that regular Gulflander timetabled services and tours will recommence from Wednesday, 3 June 2026. This timing is subject to final inspections and repair completion.
While track repairs are underway, we are offering a short Gulflander journey between Normanton and 4-Mile from Wednesday, 6 May 2026. Visit the Departure times and prices page for more information.
Our fares are changing
From 1 April 2026, our rail fares will increase by around 3.4%. The fare increase applies to all services booked for travel from 1 April 2026 and helps us continue to deliver safe, comfortable, and memorable rail journeys.
